Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle, Eddie Fisher teamed up and are known to the world as One Republic. Their list of hits comprise Apologize, Stop and Stare etc. with their debut album being released on Timbaland's Mosley Music Group imprint via Interscope Records. And now they are back with their second album, “Waking Up”, hitting the stores. Inspired by The Beatles and U2, the band mates are rotating instruments from time to time.
“All the right moves” and “Secrets” from the album are already on high air play. Tedder, pens the lyrics for most of the songs, says, "If I'm not getting Goosebumps when I write the chorus, then others aren't going to either. I want that 'hair standing on end' feeling. They may have simple melodies but our songs are about real life. It's complexity wearing the mask of simplicity."
To win Maybe One Republic doesn't do everything backwards after all. Perhaps this is one band that has it exactly right.

Hi Indigo,
I am a regular listener of Radio Indigo FM 91.9 - Bangalore, where i've been residing since past 8 years. Recently, I have relocated to Hyderabad which happens to be my native. As i am very attached to FM 91.9 and I love all of your shows. I am missing you guys terribly!!!
With some great collaborations, our bad boy is all transformed and is out with a new album. Radio Indigo’s Artist of the Month is Chris Brown with his album Graffiti and is here to transform you.
The album features collaborations with Sean Paul and reggae band Rock City as well as R&B singer Tank, Dutch electropop artist Eva Simons and rapper Game, amongst others. Brown also samples Eric Prydz's single Call On Me in the song "Pass Out". Graffiti is the third studio album by American singer Chris Brown. In the words of Brown, ““Graffiti exemplifies the many types and colors of art, music and fashion that I love and how I express myself,” he explains. “It's my art... my graffiti.”
Brown’s abilities extend beyond the concert arena and recording booth. He’s an experienced actor who made his big screen debut in Stomp The Yard in 2007 as well as a major role in the holiday feature film This Christmas. His latest film Takers, is due for release in early 2010.It’s a new decade for Chris Brown, the one-time teen sensation who has evolved into a celebrated artist for the ages, leaving his signature in the faith of Graffiti.
Radio Indigo is giving you an opportunity to hear this one and give your verdict as we feature Chris Brown as our Artist of the Month through the month of February.
